Dear Gael Aquatic Club Swimmers and Parents:

Several important updates:

I.  Please note that due to a late scheduled college event Sr I+II practice on Friday Jan. 24 will be held from 5:00-6:00pm (not 5:30-6:30pm as noted on team calendars)

2. The team bulletin boards have been updated with a variety of information and results. Please check them carefully!

3. A copy of the Silver USS Championships at White Plains YWCA (1/31+2/1+2/2) is posted for review; handouts coming soon.

4. A copy of the qualifiers to date and meet info for the Feb. 14-15-16-17 Metro Junior Olympic Championship Meet is posted for review. This is the premier Short Course meet of the season for the large majority of our swimmers. Swimmers can still qualify at the Condor and Silver Championships Meets. It is critical that swimmers realize that only "pre-proven" times may be entered in this meet and that this meet is being held on a Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon format.

Where we want swimmers to participate in all their events, some swimmers may have family vacation plans on some or all of those days. Please review your plans carefully and let Bryan know ASAP via e-mail at bdorsey@gaelac.com as this will effect relays.

5. Grand Prix Meet # 5 will be held on Monday, Jan. 27 from 4:30-6:30. All swimmers should attend and parent volunteer timers are needed!

6. The Metro USS 8/u Championship Meet is confirmed for March 1+2 at SUNY-Stony Brook. A signup will be posted soon. All 8/u are encouraged to attend.
